GENERAL DISCUSSION

MA Fashion Design program gives you the freedom to pursue your creative ambitions through experimental practice, personal research and critical evaluation. Working in purpose-built studios, you’ll cover core topics such as sketchbook development, visual research, sustainability and design, construction techniques and materials, CAD (computer-aided design) and fashion portfolio skills.

Superb facilities include bespoke pattern-cutting tables and industry-standard machines, traditional print and textile facilities as well as the latest technical and 3D printing technology.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

A good honors degree in a relevant subject (2.2 or above) or an equivalent standard in other qualifications approved by the University.

  • IELTS (Academic): Overall 6.0 with 5.5 in each component
  • TOEFL iBT: Overall 81 with 17 in listening and writing, 18 in reading and 20 in speaking
  • PTE (Academic): Overall 54 with no component less than 51
  • Cambridge English Advanced (CAE): Overall 176 with no component less than 162
