GENERAL DISCUSSION

This Master of Design is a research degree aimed at developing your design expertise and empowering your decision-making. Specializing in industrial design, fashion design and textile design, communication design, digital design or spatial design, you will work on interdisciplinary projects. Implementing creative research strategies, and continuing to develop expertise in your chosen field, you will contribute to a vibrant, collaborative design culture.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum entry requirements are a successfully completed bachelor’s degree in the same area of study from a recognized university.
  • Applicants may be required to submit a portfolio of work and attend a selection interview
  • If you’re planning to undertake a thesis, a research proposal will also be required.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

  • IELTS: 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher
  • TOEFL iBT: 90 overall with minimum of 20 in Reading, Listening, Speaking and 24 in Writing
  • PTE: 58 overall
