MA program in Surface Pattern and Textiles enables students choosing to focus purely on textile surfaces, the manipulation of fabric, exploration of tactile textile surfaces, embellishment, print and decoration.
Students get to research and experiment with traditional techniques and new technology to create innovative textiles and surface pattern designs for a range of materials including ceramics, plastics, and paper.
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are normally required to have completed an undergraduate program or first degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Fashion and Brand Promotion, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Fashion Merchandising, Photography, Design), with a 2:2 classification (or the equivalent of a UK GPA of 60 per cent)
All applicants need to prepare a comprehensive study plan proposal which should evidence interest, dedication or experience within the subject of lifestyle and fashion.
