As a Textile Engineering student you will develop a unique background, allowing you to pursue applied research, summer internships, and design projects ranging from innovative production technologies to the design of novel high performance fibers for the automotive and aviation industries. ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, awarded by an internationally recognized university-level institution
Fundamental knowledge is required in the fields of engineering, mathematics, and natural sciences that should be covered within the following modules: mathematics, mechanics, materials science, thermodynamics, chemistry, physics, machine tools, and technical drawing. Furthermore, knowledge in the following courses is required: finishing, textile techniques, fibers, automatic control, quality management, computer science, simulation techniques, economics, and molecular chemistry.
Students must have gained relevant work experience for a minimum of 12 months, either during or following their Bachelor’s degree program.
GRE must be presented as an application document. The minimum requirements are as follows: verbal reasoning 145 points, quantitative reasoning 160 points, analytical writing 3 points. (Applicants from the EU, EWG, and “Bildungsinländer” are exempt!)
