General Discussion

Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTex) is one of the most reputed specialized universities in the country. There are five specialization options: Yarn, Fabric, Wet Processing, Apparel and Engineering Management. Each specialization takes 15 students every year.

Academic Requirements

  • A bachelor degree in Textile Engineering or Technology with CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 from a recognized university
  • Candidates with lower academic qualification can also be accepted if they have 10 years of research/industrial experience.
  • National students must appear in an admission test

Language Requirements
