GENERAL DISCUSSION

Foregrounding textiles during the MFA program at UC Davis prepares students for a wide variety of careers including academia, industry, non- government organizations (NGOs), and other entrepreneurial ventures. The program provides students the opportunity for research and practice-based textile design work with a focus on exploration, creativity, and problem solving.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

An undergraduate degree with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, preferably in design or related field such as art, art history, or architecture from a recognized university or higher education institute.
